Nestled among the white and purple mountains, green valleys and cool, flowing streams of Colorado lies DURANGO...

Legend has it that, like many Western cities, DURANGO staked its claim as a small trading center for Westward expanding pioneers and Native Americans alike. As word of a special pipe tobacco leaf grown and traded by the Native Americans began to spread across the frontier like brush fire, DURANGO became a thriving trading post. The settlers took to the mysterious leaves just as they had taken to the thrill of the unknown and the spirit for adventure on their journey west. And though the tobacco was in great demand, Native Americans remained secretive about how it was grown for they held the tobacco in a spiritual light. For them, smoking was a religious and relaxing experience intended to bring peace into their lives. Today, this reverence for the "smoke of the Gods" lives on in DURANGO.
Grown in America, DURANGO Pipe Tobacco Cigars share the pride, mystery and spirituality of the Native Americans and the land that created them..
